He has led Carleton University’s Ravens to 11 CIS Men’s Basketball Championships in 13 years, including 5 consecutive titles and 88 consecutive victories. His 493-45 Overall record against CIS Team is unparalleled.
Smart’s teams regularly defeat NCAA Division 1 competition, with victories against Memphis, Illinois, TCU and Towson just to name a few.
In addition, he served as the Head Coach of the Great Britain U20 Men’s National Team and is Jay Triano’s Assistant Coach of the Canadian Men’s National Basketball Team.
